Ability Blocking

Ability blocking is similar to ability despawning, except that the ability isn't blocked around the place where it spawns.

Example of abilities that can be blocked:

• Arc Wave

• Firewall

• Flame Core

• many more...

For instance, Scorches' Flame Core could be despawned with help of the geometry by blocking all 3 core lanes at the same time:

Example of blocking Arc Wave with Vortex:

• Crouching increases the consistency of blocking the Arc Waves.

• Moving while blocking Arc Wave increases the chance of getting hit by it (1:24)

• Releasing shield too early after blocking will cause the Arc Wave to hit (1:30)
